The Powrtouch caravan motor mover utilises two 12 volt motors with reduction gearboxes that can be driven independently to provide maximum manouverability. The motors are mounted on a strong, lightweight metal framework that clamps to the caravan chassis.
The standard fitting does not require any welding or drilling to the chassis, making fitting simple.
The caravan tyres are driven by a locking cam system that requires just a small turn of a wheel brace spanner (supplied). This locates the friction drive rollers to the caravan tyres.
Caravan movement is controlled remotely by a small handset, by simply pressing one of the clearly marked buttons. A soft start system eliminates the caravan jumping into action. Braking is automatic and immediate.

The Model 3 is designed to fit caravans that have shock absorbers fitted or have a narrow gap (less than 105mm (4.125ins)) between the chassis and the tyre, but fitted with a reduction gearbox to provide more moving power to the caravan wheels. Under ideal conditions it is expected that this model will move a 1500 kgs (approx 1.5UK tons) caravan up a 1 in 4 slope.

The standard twin axle caravan mover we supply that drives two wheels only! This model of Powrtouch is the only one recommended to be fitted behind the rear wheels; the reason for this is to obtain the best possible turning performance that is achieved by slightly lifting the jockey wheel it is expected that the caravan will turn quicker. Fits the vast majority of all twin axle caravans. 5 year Guarantee!

The Powrtouch All Wheel Drive Twin axle caravan mover drives all four wheels of the caravan; this model caravan motor mover is designed for a twin axle caravan over 1700 kgs (MTPLM), this mover may be used on a steep slope, turning uphill or on uneven ground . when fitting this modal motor mover a spare wheel carier bracket may need to be purchased to move the carrier.
